Get ready for GenYES!
With TechYES projects well underway for seventh graders in all NYSSTL schools, STLs and their advisors are getting ready to take on a new task: helping other teachers learn how to use and integrate technology. Teachers can request Technology Assistance Projects, or TAPs, to get an STL's help making a website, learning to use the video camera, and finding other creative ways to bring technology into their everyday lessons.
Teachers, to request a TAP, visit the "NYSSTL Schools" link to the right and find your school on the list to start getting technology help!
Announcing the GenYES Forum for STLs!
Did you make friends at camp that you want to keep in touch with? Are you a new STL looking for tips on how to be a peer mentor? Want to just hang out online with other students in the NYSSTL club? The NYSSTL GenYES website now has a place where you can do just that! Any STL with a GenYES account can use the secure NYSSTL forum to talk and share ideas with other STLs and NYSSTL advisors from around New York State. This fall, have your NYSSTL advisor approve your GenYES account to log in and start communicating!
